Flury (CD Gallo) swissmusic

As the son of late romantic composer Richard Flury, Urs Joseph Flury (born on 25 August 1941) was exposed very early to music as a child. Violin diploma at the Bienne Conservatory. Urs Joseph Flury has led the Solothurn Chamber Orchestra and the Foyer Orchestra in Moutier for over thirty years. In 1993 he was awarded the Culture Prize from the Canton of Solothurn. His music can be discribed as in the neo-romantic and impressionist tradition, characterized, however, by a personal musical language.
