各个民主国家应当怎样对待北京冬奥会？
中国政府一直被指控侵犯维吾尔族穆斯林、藏族等少数群体的权益，并压制香港的各种自由。出于这个原因，西方的许多人权活动者和政界人士支持对明年2月的北京冬奥会进行外交抵制，这意味着国家元首和其他高级官员将不出席本届冬奥会。
但对瑞士来说，是否应该外交抵制这届冬奥会是个艰难的决定。瑞士同中国有着重要的经济关系，而发挥斡旋调节作用并促进各方举行谈判，这是瑞士外交政策的重要组成部分–瑞士不希望通过抵制北京冬奥会而损害到这一切。
在瑞士实行的民主是好的，甚至是太容易了。只要有几个签名，举行的投票往往是无用的，对一部分人来说是无法理解的。例如，2021年6月13日，关于农业，当大多数人无法种植胡萝卜时。对于其他困难的问题，也是如此。人们在市镇、州和联邦一级进行选举。可能在那里，我们应该选择那些已经证明其知识的候选人。太多的当选代表没有政治和经济生活的经验。
La démocratie telle que pratiquée en Suisse est bonne, même trop facile. Avec quelques signatures, on met sur pied des votations souvent inutile et incompréhensibles pour une partie de la population. 在中国有中国人（和维吾尔人），在美国有美国人，在非洲有非洲人，在欧洲有欧洲人，等等，在奥运会上，几乎都是专业人士。
而在奥林匹克运动会上，几乎只有专业人员。

There are so many weird pro China comments below stating that China is the same as any European country, what European country has a situation like Hong Kong going on for two years?
