A documentary and animation filmmaker from Bern, Michele studied film at Zurich University of the Arts. He's been a swissinfo.ch video journalist since 2004 and has a special interest in developing new video formats for mobile viewing, mixing animation and documentary styles.
St Gallen abbey was dissolved in 1805 and has since become a Unesco world heritage site. The monastic library is one of St Gallen’s biggest tourist attractions, featuring such treasures as the oldest book in German and the earliest complete musical score, as well as important holy manuscripts.
