I lead diverse teams of distribution specialists and multimedia journalists in creating multilingual content for a range of online platforms. I oversee the strategic development of our podcast and video products, driving innovative content creation and audience engagement.
After training as a broadcast journalist at City University of London, I worked in production and on-air as a journalist or contributor for a range of prime-time TV and radio programmes at top-tier broadcasters including the BBC, NPR, Deutsche Welle, and various commercial networks.
As a photo editor I am responsible for the editorial use of photography at SWI swissinfo.ch and our collaborations with photographers. When the opportunity arises, I take a camera and accompany one of our journalists.
I trained as a photographer in Zürich and began working as a photojournalist in 1989. I was a founder of the Swiss photographers' agency Lookat Photos in 1990. A two-time World Press Award winner, I have also been awarded several Swiss national scholarships. My work has been widely exhibited and it is represented in various collections.

The youth games began in 1998 in response to growing global concerns about childhood obesity and a drop in the number of young people taking part in sport, especially in developed nations. The event features eight sports and 16 disciplines, such as ice hockey, ice skating, downhill skiing and snowboarding.
The winter weather in Switzerland hasn’t completely played ball this time, with warmer temperatures affecting snow at lower altitudes. Organisers in the Les Diablerets ski resort used trucks to transport snow dug up from the top of a mountain to cover part of a ski slope lower down. Criticism from online commentators and the media over the environmental impact of such measures quickly put a stop to this, however, and the route was modified instead.
