Coping with a derailed train in Lucerne

Travellers have been forced to make alternative arrangements after a Eurocity train from Milan to Basel partially derailed on Wednesday afternoon, knocking down a power pylon and disrupting power supply to Lucerne station. (SRF/swissinfo.ch)

The 160 passengers were evacuated from the train and seven were taken to hospital for treatment for minor injuries. The station remained closed on Thursday.
