A student’s view on architecture
The Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio was founded in 1996 jointly with renowned Ticino architects such as Mario Botta, Bruno Galfetti and Luigi Snozzi. After technical aspects of architecture the academy's focus is on the humanities. It offers courses in philosophy, art history, anthropology and sociology. Second year student Luca Rampazzi gave swissinfo a short insight into his university life. (Michele Andina, swissinfo)

A documentary and animation filmmaker from Bern, Michele studied film at Zurich University of the Arts. He's been a swissinfo.ch video journalist since 2004 and has a special interest in developing new video formats for mobile viewing, mixing animation and documentary styles.
