Studied history and politics at University of Bern. Worked at Reuters, the newspapers Der Bund and Berner Zeitung, and the Förderband radio station. I am concerned with the Swiss practice of modern direct democracy in all its aspects and at all levels, my constant focus being the citizen.
My work focuses on engaging with you, our audience, and strengthening trust in our journalism. I develop engagement tools such as multilingual debates and help distribute our content to users across platforms.
A former nurse, I later pursued English linguistics and media studies where I developed a keen interest in journalism and news in the digital age.
The quiz contains general questions on the course content, as well as open questions that you’re welcome (but not obliged) to answer. If we may, we’d very much like to use anonymous quotes from these answers and share some of them on our interactive webpage. Have fun!
