Farmers in Sembrancher in canton Valais started growing Edelweiss over a decade ago. This symbol of the Swiss Alps is protected in the wild but when it’s grown commercially, it offers a lot of potential for cosmetics and food industries. (Michele Andina, swissinfo.ch)
