Ingrid Lukas: Silver Secrets
Ambient / Indie / Pop. Two years ago Ingrid Lukas debuted with her sensational album We Need To Repeat on Nik Bärtsch's label Ronin Music. This coup, which highlighted her elfin-like voice above repetitive sound structures has not gone unnoticed. In the sequel, Nordic mastermind Bugge Wesseltoft discovered this Estonian-born, Zurich-raised siren. With Silver Secrets, released on a major label, Lukas will for sure create an international stir and no longer be a lone voice in the wilderness any more. While her debut album spread an enigmatic aura, these silver secrets have a rather prosaic feel. Yet, there are some mystical moments which cast their spell on the listener.
