Content: -The Samedan Lute Manuscript from 1563 is a document of swiss musical practice from the middle of the 16th century. -The Wiezel Keyboard Manuscript from 1616 is the only surviving source of early instrumental music with a connection to the tradition of Engadine folk music. - The von Salis Manuscript for Bowed String Instruments from 1681. - The von Planta Guitar Manuscript from 1804.
