If memory is anything to go by, it was in the summer of the year 2005 when the Sherlock Holmes Society of London came to Switzerland. Robert Brookes, prompted a little by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, followed the party towards the end of their sojourn. What better way to start the day than to take the waters in Leukerbad, canton Valais. Holmes and Moriarty fight it out above the Reichenbach Falls. Locked in each other's arms, they face death as they fall into that dreadful cauldron of swirling water and seething foam. There will lie for all time the most dangerous criminal and the foremost champion of the law of their generation (or will one of them resurface?). swissinfo.ch
