French artist JR has just completed his Unframed project in the Swiss city of Vevey. He was given “carte blanche” by the city and Lausanne’s Musée d’Elysée to use it extensive collection of iconic images. JR’s work involves reworking images, blowing them up into huge posters and plastering them on carefully selected urban sites.
