Thomas Ott – Einfall

Thomas Ott (Zurich, 1966) is one of the best-known exponents of the Zurich group of comics artists that emerged in the 1980s, having been published also in the USA, Spain, Italy and Denmark. The short video “Einfall” (a word that may have various meanings in German: idea, thought, inroad, incidence), shot by the photographer and videomaker Marius Eckert in Ott’s studio, displays the artist’s little cabinet of horrors – perfectly reflected in his peculiar dark stories.
