Wakker Heritage Prize 2010
The village of Fläsch wins the 2010 prize for its “innovative local planning”.
The village in the Rhine Valley in eastern Switzerland won the Swiss Heritage Society’s yearly award for its “fragmented reorganisation”, which had enabled it to maintain its winegrowing culture in the face of housing pressure. (Keystone/ Gaetan Bally)
