How do the Swiss memorise yodel melodies?

It consists of hundreds of different similar-sounding melodies: natural yodelling. This has always been passed on from yodeller to yodeller without being written down. Now, music researchers are studying the most traditional music of Switzerland. (SRF/swissinfo.ch)
