Born in Graubünden in 1978, I studied German, economics and politics. I started my journalistic career as a freelance journalist for local and regional media. This was followed by a decade as editor-in-chief, first at the Bündner Tagblatt newspaper and later at SWI swissinfo.ch. Since 2019, I have been Director of the international platform SWI swissinfo.ch and a member of the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation's Executive Board.
Since 2022, I have been responsible for all journalistic content published by SWI swissinfo.ch, with a special focus on democracy and culture. Previously, I held senior roles in digital news and was head of a primetime current affairs program on Swiss radio and television. I also developed broad expertise as a journalist on politics, science and culture. I hold a master's degree in environmental sciences from ETH Zurich.
