Relations between Geneva, Switzerland and its French neighbours are excellent…today. But that was not always true! Swiss Radio International’s Roy Probert takes us back to a fateful December 12th evening in 1602. It’s come to be known as the Escalade or ‘scaling the walls’ – an event that has become a patriotic festival in the Geneva of today.
