Fighting the effects of climate change in the Swiss Alps
Climate change has taken a heavy toll on glaciers over the past 20 years, and in parts of the Swiss Alps they are melting away. Now help is at hand. German physics professor Eduard Heindl has developed the world’s first glacier making machine, and he’s been testing it on the Theodul glacier near Zermatt. (SF/swissinfo.ch)
