An exhibition about St. Gallus, the Irish missionary who arrived in St Gallen in the year 612, is one of many events and exhibitions taking place throughout 2012, to celebrate 1’400 years of history and the Gallus legacy. The famous abbey and its library are said to be built on the spot where St. Gallus settled and built his hermitage.
