A documentary and animation filmmaker from Bern, Michele studied film at Zurich University of the Arts. He's been a swissinfo.ch video journalist since 2004 and has a special interest in developing new video formats for mobile viewing, mixing animation and documentary styles.
Thirty years ago the abandoned village of Bordei in the Centovalli region of Ticino was rediscovered by some German-speaking Swiss. They restored the houses with the help of young people with behavioral problems. Today Bordei has become a rehabilitation centre for addicts. (Michele Andina, swissinfo.ch)
