Jazz as a cultural bridge

Elina Duni left her roots in Albania at the age of ten and moved to Switzerland. A former student of Bern’s Swiss Jazz School, she combines folk songs from the Balkans with modern jazz - a way of bringing her two worlds together. (Michele Andina, swissinfo.ch)

A documentary and animation filmmaker from Bern, Michele studied film at Zurich University of the Arts. He's been a swissinfo.ch video journalist since 2004 and has a special interest in developing new video formats for mobile viewing, mixing animation and documentary styles.
