Researchers develop the ideal artificial football surface.
Since artificial turf is weather resistant and low-maintenance it is regularly used in professional as well as amateur football. But it also has some disadvantages: When the fibres are too hard they cause painful injuries. Soft fibres on the other hand wear out quickly. Now researchers have found the perfect solution.
