As winter approaches, the Berger family prepare to take their herd of dairy and beef cattle down from the high mountain pastures near Schwarzsee to the valley below. It’s a festive occasion. Everyone – even the animals – has to get dressed up for the 27-kilometre hike. But will prize-winning Maloya, a very pregnant dairy cow, make it all the way? (swissinfo, Julie Hunt)
