Marianne Racine Quartet: Jazz
Vocal jazz / swing. Singer-pianist Marianne Racine names her newest album just Jazz. And indeed it comprises all ingredients which signify this style at best: a solid working band, songs entirely drawn from the American Songbook combined with a relaxed swing feel throughout. It is Racine's dry and ironic voice which specially flavours these standard readings.
