Old sanatorium new again

Glorious future for grand old hotel, Schatzalp.

A documentary and animation filmmaker from Bern, Michele studied film at Zurich University of the Arts. He's been a swissinfo.ch video journalist since 2004 and has a special interest in developing new video formats for mobile viewing, mixing animation and documentary styles.

The sanatorium on Schatzalp above Davos has hosted many famous guests in its time. German writer Thomas Mann set his classic novel, Magic Mountain, there. Now the historic site is adapting to modern times. (Michele Andina, swissinfo.ch)
