Parliament and swissness
Céline joined swissinfo.ch in 2018 as video journalist for the 'Nouvo in English' project, just after graduating from the Academie du journalisme et des medias (AJM) at the University of Neuchâtel. Originally from Ticino, she's been filming, writing and interviewing people all over Switzerland since she got her first reporter badge at 11 during a school camp.
As part of a series on swissness in the run up to the elections taking place in Switzerland in October, we’re looking in more detail at how the country works. In this episode a newly “swissed” person visits the parliament building with a Nouvo journalist. A perfect opportunity to find out or refresh our memories on how the different houses are elected and how the decision-making process works.
