How much do you know about Switzerland?

The politbox app will test users' knowledge of Swiss life, politics and issues swissinfo.ch

Together with the other units of the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation, swissinfo.ch has launched a quiz game called politbox where users can test their knowledge of Switzerland and share their opinions ahead of the national elections in October.

Players can choose from a variety of quiz categories like history, transport and languages swissinfo.ch

The smartphone app, available in English, German, Italian, French and Romansh, lets users see how much they know about a variety of Swiss topics, from languages to history and even political scandals.

Opinion questions will let the user community share thoughts on key issues and will influence journalistic coverage by the multilingual editorial team behind politbox. New quiz questions, levels and categories will be constantly added to reflect current events leading up to the elections on October 18.

There will also be a roadshow. Over the next six months, the politbox team will journey by bus across Switzerland to meet the app’s community and engage with a wider audience. The first stop will be the bilingual town of Fribourg on May 13.

Politbox is available for iOS and Android devices. More information can be found at politbox.ch.External link And, connect with the project on FacebookExternal link, TwitterExternal link and InstagramExternal link
