Qatar mediated between Germany and Afghanistan’s Taliban to help return Afghans to their country, Al Jazeera TV says

CAIRO (Reuters) – Qatar facilitated negotiations between Germany and Afghanistan’s Taliban to help return Afghans to their country based on their legal status, Qatar’s flagship Al Jazeera TV quoted an official from the Qatari foreign ministry as saying early on Saturday.
