Sales are up, thanks to Einstein
In 2005 as part of the 100-year celebrations of the special theory of relativity, the Historical Museum in Bern put on an extra-special exhibition. Einstein lived in Bern while he developed the theory.
At the time, it was almost impossible to find a trace of Einstein in the Swiss capital. Businesses in Bern decided it was time they embraced the memory of the famous former-resident. The museum’s exhibition was extremely successful, and was moved to the Einstein Museum.
