What can be done to help mothers who experience mental illness during and after pregnancy?
Worldwide, one in ten pregnant women and 13 per cent of women who have just given birth experience a mental disorder, primarily depression.
But this is rarely talked about, in science or society. There is a lack of data to guide treatment because pregnant women are an under-researched group. Yet the effects of depression and other disorders during pregnancy and after birth have a significant impact on outcomes for babies.

Mothers with problems are no different than children or men with problems. If the problem is medical use your insurance and see what the doctor says.
Postpartum depression is not a mental symptom, it is an altered mental state due to physical changes, and I can convincingly explain everything related to it.
