UK’s Rentokil names ex-Flutter finance chief Edgecliffe-Johnson as CFO
(Reuters) – British pest control firm Rentokil Initial said on Monday that its new chief financial officer (CFO) would be Paul Edgecliffe-Johnson, the former finance chief of gambling group Flutter Entertainment.
The company said its current finance chief, Stuart Ingall-Tombs, is retiring at the end of the year after 17 years of service and four years as CFO.
Edgecliffe-Johnson, 52, was previously finance chief and head of strategy at Holiday Inn owner IHG until 2023.
His appointment comes at a time when Rentokil is moving to fix its North American business, while integrating the $6.7 billion acquisition of Terminix.
He will join Rentokil as CFO designate on Dec. 1 before taking over the role at the start of next year.
