UK police send explosive disposal team to Gatwick Airport over suspicious item
LONDON (Reuters) – British police sent an explosive ordnance disposal team to London’s Gatwick Airport after a suspected prohibited item was discovered in luggage, a local force said in a statement.
A terminal at the airport has been evacuated and a security cordon is in place, the statement added.
