Americans gather in Geneva to celebrate or commiserate

More than a thousand Americans of all creeds and political leanings gathered for an all-night party in Geneva to watch the outcome of the US elections. The event was organised by the American International Club, and swissinfo was there to witness history in the making. (swissinfo, Michele Andina/Julie Hunt)

A documentary and animation filmmaker from Bern, Michele studied film at Zurich University of the Arts. He's been a swissinfo.ch video journalist since 2004 and has a special interest in developing new video formats for mobile viewing, mixing animation and documentary styles.

Julie worked as a radio reporter for BBC and independent radio all over the UK before joining swissinfo.ch's predecessor, Swiss Radio International, as a producer. After attending film school, Julie worked as an independent filmmaker before coming to swissinfo.ch in 2001.
