Lobbying behind the scenes in parliament
The Swiss parliament is gathered for a regular three-week session. Politicians have to cast their votes on many complex issues. Not an easy task, given that Swiss parliamentarians are only part time. This opens the door to lobbyists, who have more resources at their disposal to influence politicians. Some see this as undermining democracy. (SF/swissinfo.ch)
