The paddle steamer Savoie, Geneva
The Savoie, delivered in 1914, was one of a fleet of 12 paddle steamers built for the Compagnie Générale de Navigation of Lake Geneva between 1896 and 1927 by Sulzer Brothers of Winterthur.
Sonne hotel, Küssnacht (canton Zurich)
This historic hotel was first mentioned in 1641 and was run until 1990 by the same family who gradually enlarged it. It was renovated in the 1990s.
Waldhaus hotel, Sils/Segl Maria (canton Graubünden)
This luxury hotel, built between 1905 and 1908, remains largely unchanged since then. It is one of ten hotels in Graubünden opening its doors to the public during Heritage Days.
Feldschlösschen brewery, Rheinfelden (canton Aargau)
The striking Feldschlösschen brewery above the town of Rheinfelden, dates from the second half of the 19th century. The castle-style building features on the company's beer labels.
The lido in Nidau (canton Bern)
The lido in Nidau on the outskirts of Biel is an example of the "New Building" style of the 1920s and 30s. It offered even the least well-off the chance to swim and enjoy the fresh air.
Public baths in St Gallen
The baths, built in 1904-6, are one of the town's earliest sport facilities. They are currently being restored.
Cinema, Schaffhausen
Two of Schaffhausen's cinemas, dating back to 1929 and 1933, as well as the town theatre of the 1950s can be visited as part of the Heritage Days.
