The Grand Chalet at Rossinière is the biggest in Switzerland and one of the largest inhabited wooden buildings in Europe. It was built between 1750 and 1754 for local lawyer and businessman Jean David Henchoz. (All pictures: Rodrigo Carrizo Couto/swissinfo.ch)
