Worlds of rock and ice
The first-ever book has been published that showcases the history of mountain photography.
No other country is identified more closely with the Alps than Switzerland. The 80-year-old professor of folklore, Paul Hugger, has published a book that for the first time chronicles mountain photography in Switzerland from its beginnings up to the present day. The images highlight the natural beauty of alpine scenery, but also the destructive forces ever present in the mountains.
